The Difference Between CLICK CHARGE and COST PER PRINT

Oklahoma copier companies are able to stay in business because they get a steady income that their numerous customers pay them for prints per month. The mistake that is most commonly made by customers buying new copiers is when they sign a contract for more prints than they will realistically use per month. Much like people who pay for more minutes than they use on their cell phone per month, in order to avoid charges for overages, they pay for more copier prints than they will ever actually use.

For example, there is a healthcare company that we work with that had signed a contract for 80,000 prints forColorqube $500 per month. If all 80,000 prints were being used each month, this would amount to a ridiculously low $.00625 per print, but in reality they were only using an average of 35,000 prints per month, which amounts to $.0142 per print, or, over double what they should have expected to be paying per print. We offered them a contract that would charge them a flat $.01 per print, regardless of how many prints they use per month. Ultimately this ends up saving them $1,800 per year, because previously they were paying for 45,000 prints that they were not using. This is the most common mistake that we see being made by companies using copiers.

Don’t be deceived by the inaccurate number of prints that the contract says you will be using per month. Make sure to look at what you are paying and divide that by the number of actual prints you are using per month.
