Xerox Copier Company

Xerox has been a great company for a lot of years. They have provided outstanding service to countless customers and as a result have helped a lot of businesses succeed. Here are some things that you might not know about this well known company:

They were the first company that developed what is called the “dry copying” process. Chester Carlson came up with it in 1938 while conducting experiments in his kitchen, which almost led to his house going up in flames.

Xerox was also the first company to invent things like the first office server, desktop computers, graphical user interface and the first device that would later become know as the “mouse.” On top of this they also developed the first cathode ray tube monitor. These inventions were eventually licensed to Steve Jobs who used them in his first version of the Macintosh computer.

They are the one fortune 500 company that has an African-American female as their CEO. 

They developed what is called “e-Concierge,” which is a web based email interface that makes it possible to gather data from the use of copiers and printers which will in turn let you know when you are getting low on toner and will allow you to order it online.
